Davide Signorin, the founder and creative director of CASAITALIA, was born in Vicenza, Italy.
The design and production house of CASAITALIA has its roots in the craftsmanship of the Romano Signorin family that goes back for three generations.
The Signorin tenery in the 70`s
The foundation for CASA ITALIA comes from the family tannery located in the city of Vicenza, just west of Venice provided the custom and quality leathers to a full range of luxury trades for which the Veneto region and Italy are famous: furniture, fashion, footwear, and automotive interiors.

That original tannery made a distinct and lasting contribution to the use of leathers with “Tecnoconociaria” a process that adds a previously unknown degree of suppleness and which quickly found many applications, including footwear (Sergio Rossi), and furniture design (Minotti,Cassina, B&B Italia, Flexform, Momo wheel, Ferrari "Fiat Group", Dainese biker outwear, Recaro).

Davide Signorin brought this tradition to discerning Mexicans of taste in the 1990s when he first combined his quality designs for the home (casa) with the warmth and strength of the family matriarch (Italia Pia)—into that which is known today as CASAITALIA.
